saturday, august 21st we will be playing a show at the parish here in austin! i am so very excited about this show. first of all, the other bands are awesome…telegraph canyon from fort worth, and archeology from portland, or! and also i have assembled a 7-piece band for this show! accordian! drums! melodica! glass jars! pizza pans! little casio keyboards! super fun! it’s our first time to play at the parish and i think it will be a really cool show. you can get tickets here early to save a little money: http://www.theparishaustin.com/show/detail/30738

marfa film festival!

hi!

our spring tour was super fun and we have a bunch of pictures from the road up here: bookface. thanks to everyone who came out to the shows! and mucho super awesome thanks to those who fed us and gave us places to sleep!!

i’m playing a solo show this friday (5.7.10) in marfa, tx at the Marfa Film Festival! our friends from reversal films are premiering their beautiful film, Echotone at the Crowley Theatre in marfa on friday (5.7.10) at 4:30pm. i will be playing immediately afterwards at Padre’s (across the street). visit the Echotone site or the Marfa Film Festival site for more information.
